we were in salt lake visiting some family over the weekend.
we took a drive to a gorgeous lake nearby, that was frozen over with snow.
i decided since it was the first time we had all walked out onto a lake it had to be documented.
so, without further gabbing i give you march’s project.
my all time favorite of the day…..
the loves of my life.

this months self portrait came around way too quickly.
i wasn’t prepared….
we are in the middle of moving and i’m going to be honest i almost backed out.
but then, i remembered i want the memory……
no matter what was going on around us.
so, here you have it…….
our valentine’s self portrait.

through my love of photography i have had the opportunity to meet some of the most inspiring, talented, amazing group of women.
i am so happy that they are not just fellow photographers, but that they are my friends.
it’s crazy to think how one passion can change your entire life.
last year i embarked on a frame a day journey with some other photographers,
it was hard, i found myself out of ideas and just feeling burnt out.
this year, i knew i wanted to do something….
something for me, and my family and our memories,
i was so excited when i was asked to be a part of a blog circle of self portraits.
no rules, just us….on the other side of the camera making memories.
so, this years journey……
a self portrait once a month….for twelve months.
let’s move onto month one…..
my favorite part about sunday mornings……
snuggling, giggling and tickling with my three favorite people in bed.
it doesn’t get any better than this.
so, this is us….enjoying our sleepy, bed head, snuggle time.
